Textiles: the main element in different projects
Tribal DDB Offices by i29 interior architects, Duivendrecht, Netherlands
In this project, the architects explain that they chose textiles for their ability to absorb sound, create privacy in open spaces, be fire-resistant, and be environmentally friendly. The fabric has been used to make furniture, partitions, and lamps.
Apartment Renovation by Estudio Primitivo González, Benalmádena, Spain
In this stunning open-plan beach apartment, curtains play a dual role. On the one hand, they replace walls and allow for a flexible space that adapts to the needs of its inhabitants, depending on their position. On the other hand, they filter and soften the varying light of the Mediterranean.
Resuinsa Showroom by BoMa Estudio and Carmela Martí, Alboraya, Valencia
The textile company Resuinsa wanted to demonstrate that textiles can transform any space, no matter how inhospitable, into something warm and pleasant. To this end, they set up their showroom in the garage of their offices. Within the circular structure, the curtains serve to flexibly separate the different areas.
As you can see, the possibilities of textiles are very broad. At Carmela Martí, we are experts in decorative textiles and are delighted to innovate with original and groundbreaking projects. We take care of everything, from measuring to installation.
