Carmela Martí’s textile interior design is expanding worldwide

Our next goal is to expand our internationalization strategy to the United States, a market that values design, quality, and experience.

At Carmela Martí Decoración, we have consolidated our textile interior design internationalization strategy in recent years. We have long been working in various countries, including Malta, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Italy, France, Algeria, the Czech Republic, Martinique, and more, in addition to Spain.

The personalized textile interior design projects we develop for each establishment have been one of the key factors in this international expansion. “Each country has very different characteristics due to customs or climate,” explains our General Manager, Mamen Pérez. “We need to understand the customers in each area very well, and for that reason, we rely on local collaborators who help us adapt and better understand the market.”

In this regard, Mamen gives the example that for Spaniards, it is essential to sleep in complete darkness, for which 100% opaque blackout curtains are used. However, other clients, such as Germans, do not mind if the blackout curtains let in a bit of light. Or in Caribbean regions, it is important to consider humidity, so anti-mold fabrics are used.

At Carmela Martí, we can carry out each textile interior design project from start to finish; that is, we offer essential services ranging from taking measurements to final installation. “It is a personalized service highly valued by hotel establishments in countries like Malta or the Dominican Republic. They seek this added value, where companies work comprehensively on the textile interior design of a space,” notes Mamen.

International projects

Some of the hotels we have collaborated with internationally include Le Boutique Hotels Collection, a French chain featuring Villa Mauresque, Le Suites Pereire, Le Palais Galien, and more; ST Hotels, a Maltese chain with establishments such as Azur, Bluebay, etc.; Aqua Life Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Hotel Finisterre in Panama.

Finally, our General Manager at Carmela Martí has announced that the goal is “to continue with this international projection. To this end, we will soon begin collaborating with hotel establishments located in the United States, a market that values individualized design, quality, and the experience with which we approach our projects.”
