Elegance and sophistication in the textiles of the new Palacio de Correos by Carmela Martí

Carmela Martí Decoración dresses the new Palacio de Correos Hotel of the Eurostars Group

The hotel chain Eurostars has recently opened the new Hotel Aurea Palacio de Correos in Logroño. It is housed in the city’s former post office, a neo-Baroque building constructed in 1932. After being closed for 13 years, the interior has been renovated while preserving the original facade. In addition to maintaining the architecture, the aim was to reflect the building’s historical use. Therefore, the hallways feature an extensive collection of postcards, and the room decor includes compositions made from stamps representative of Logroño.In this context, Carmela Martí has participated in the project by furnishing the rooms and common areas, maintaining and respecting the identity of the building and the hotel chain. The common areas are adorned with satin curtains in two colors, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The beds are dressed in velvet-finished fabrics in ochre tones that perfectly complement the rest of the room. The curtains have a sheer layer that allows light to pass through and a blackout fabric that blocks it, with velvet material that visually shifts between green and blue hues. To achieve complete darkness, roller blinds have also been installed in the bathroom windows, providing total privacy.

In short, the textile design and decor created for the Palacio de Correos offer an atmosphere of modern elegance with a classic touch, creating a unique space and experience in the heart of Logroño.
