The innovative textiles of Carmela Marti in FITUR 24

Together with Resuinsa and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), we participated in FiturtechY24, located in Pavilion 10, Stand 10A10.

The hotel of the future goes beyond being a technological showcase. This is evident in the FiturtechY24 space at FITUR Madrid, where we collaborated with Resuinsa and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH) to showcase the latest trends and solutions in innovative textiles.

In this new edition, the showroom was inspired by the classic 90s sci-fi movie ‘Total Recall.’ A bold bubble hotel design was proposed to transform current standards, harmoniously blending technological efficiency, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the essential human touch.

A scenario was created to transport visitors to Mars and the challenge of exploring other worlds. The bubble hotel became the centerpiece of the space, representing the challenges of sustainable construction. This approach explores a new form of accommodation that features the latest trends in equipment.

Carmela Martí collaborated with products aligned with futuristic décor, designed for maximum comfort to offer guests the best possible rest.
Additionally, colors inspired by the planet Mars were chosen, such as earth-toned cushions and others with embroidery in the same hues.

In addition to promoting rest, the items aim to facilitate the daily tasks of hotel housekeeping staff. This year, FiturtechY24 focuses on empowering the human team to bridge the gap between the increasingly prevalent technology in hotel operations and the personalized experience guests demand.
